Drag Line Excavator - Are there any Digging Functions where this kind of Excavator can't be used? - excavator digging
A drag line excavator is a powerful machine in civil engineering, mining, dredging. The limitation is the amount and length of the spring, as the boundaries, where the thread waste dump can.
The efficiency of the dragline is digging material below the level of their ways. Channels are not suitable for the loading of collected materials.

Any abrasions or precision where precision is required, such as foundations, etc., a backhoe loader or other equipment requires to be controlled.
A security thread is best for mining or other excavations, where precision is not so important.
They are widely used in coal mines. There are several in North Dakota. There were some very big, but I think they are no longer in use.
